Brett Fest II is a one-day festival held at the Tunnels in central Aberdeen with a whole day of punk-adjacent and metal-adjacent bands to showcase the strength of the Aberdeen and Grampian DIY punk scene. Brett Fest hosts eleven bands from the local area, all over Scotland and Northern Ireland for the low price of £12.
Belfast's beatdown hardcore five-piece Frayed Ends return over the water for their first non-central belt Scottish gig, along with Shortest Straw of Northern Ireland, also playing metallic hardcore for the local moshpit monsters, with a Scottish exclusive show for 2025.
Up-and-coming local acts will showcase the strength of the Aberdeen and Grampian DIY punk scene in the shape of Gype, Datura, Vibrator, Acid Attax (one of their first gigs) and TxDxBx (one of their last gigs)...
as well as a plethora of socio-political melodic punk talent from across Scotland, with an Aberdeen City debut for Proof of Failure (central belt) as well as Aftrshocks (Dundee), The Idiotix (Highlands), and Polar Bears In Purgatory (based in all four corners of Scotland)
Doors open at 2pm, with the show being over at 10pm well in time for the last trains and buses to outlying towns and cities.
Brett Fest is 100% independent, with no sponsorships, and run by not-for-profit promoters.
All profits to be shared among the touring bands.
