ARE YOU 14-19, LIVING IN SCOTLAND, INTERESTED IN MUSIC, THINKING OF PURSUING A CAREER IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?
MusicPlus is a FREE nationwide mentoring scheme for 14-19 year olds run by The Scottish Music Centre and supported by Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative, The Robertson Trust, The PRSF Talent Development Fund and the Scottish Children’s Lottery.
The aim of the project is to offer you one to one experience with music industry professionals who will offer guidance, encouragement, skills and knowledge across a range of industry roles from performance to business. MusicPlus helps with choices about further education and career development supplemented by helpful group sessions, workshops and seminars. They can also arrange an instrument to be borrowed if a young person doesn't have access to one.
Please note: MusicPlus are running online sessions only at the moment (with the hope of returning to ‘in person’ sessions when safe enough)
