Video Interview: Nathan Bissette
Tuesday 6th June 2017
Shmu's Positive Transitions course caught up with Aberdeen/Sweden-based musician and tutor Nathan Bissette to find out more about what he does and why...including his thoughts on the all-important pineapple/pizza debate.
Nathan grew up in Leicester before moving to Aberdeen in 2008. He graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2014, gaining a First Class Honours Degree in Music and the Chris Cadwur Composition Award.
He now spends his time playing and teaching professionally, and is a member of a diverse range of acts such as Swedish folk duo Jonzon (pictured), sound collective Dead Hand and ceilidh group Jigs Akimbo.
Check out the video below (keep watching to the end for a live, acoustic performance)!
Interview filmed and edited by Alexis Walker, Sarah Watt, Aaron Bryson & Sean Craigen.
