True North Panel Discussion on Sat 9 September

As part of this year’s True North festival, we’re running another panel discussion alongside Aberdeen Performing Arts.
Taking place at The Lemon Tree on Saturday 9 September at 2pm, the discussion will explore the routes used by young bands and artists to break into the music industry.
Chaired by BBC Radio Scotland DJ and music journalist Nicola Meighan, the panel features:
Steven Milne (The Lemon Tree/The Little Kicks), Ross Calder (The Tunnels/Drummonds), Iona Fyfe (Aberdeenshire folk singer) and Chris Beltran (DF Concerts, Glasgow).
Expect to gain insight into how venues/bookers/promoters and much more work, at both a local and national level. There’ll be plenty time for you to ask questions as well.
The discussion will be aimed at 16-25 year-olds, although all are welcome, and entry is FREE, but ticketed.
