An opportunity for all composers to improve their skills, develop new ideas and get advice from leading professionals. This full-day workshop includes a session with Colin Riley on Collaborative Multi-Media work, and a masterclass on Writing for Piano with Rolf Hind. The day will conclude with a talk from Christopher Fox on composing for piano and percussion, following the premiere of his new work Earth & Sea at soundfestival 2023 which will be performed at the Sunday lunchtime concert at St Andrew's Cathedral. A ticket for this concert is included as part of the Composers' Day.

A limited number of 1:1 sessions with Colin Riley are available after the lunchtime concert. Sessions last 10 mins each and slots are allocated on a first come first served basis. Spaces are very limited, so please double check your availability before signing up.
